Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Court of Protection Solicitor to join a reputable law firm in Bristol. As a Court of Protection Solicitor, you will be responsible for working with vulnerable individuals and their families to ensure their rights are protected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Making applications to appoint replacement trustees to manage the affairs of vulnerable individuals.
  • Preparing and submitting statutory will, gifting, and compromise applications to the Court of Protection.
  • Providing deputyship administration services to ensure the well-being of incapacitated individuals.
  • Investigating and reinstating the incapacitated person's estate to ensure their financial security.
  • Collaborating with other teams within the firm to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.
  • Preparing and submitting applications for recognition and enforcement of Court of Protection orders.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong experience in Court of Protection law, particularly in elderly care work. You will also need to be a skilled communicator and able to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
