Senior Social Work Practitioner

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Social Worker to join our team as an Advanced Practitioner. This role will involve providing leadership and guidance to colleagues, as well as contributing to the development of practice, policy, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Case Management and Intervention: Effectively manage cases, deliver cost-effective interventions, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and department policies.
- Mentorship and Coaching: Provide guidance and support to professional staff and peers, focusing on evidence-informed practice.
- Practice Audits and Quality Improvement: Conduct practice audits within teams, working collaboratively with other advanced practitioners and the Performance and Quality Team.
- Contribution to Policy and Procedure Development: Share expert knowledge to contribute to the improvement and development of practice, policy, and procedures.
- Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment and adhere to health and safety protocols.
- Considerable experience as a qualified Social Worker.
- Excellent knowledge of legislation, policies, and practices associated with Community Care.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Ability to balance competing demands and priorities.
- Willingness to travel efficiently between work locations within Moray.
