Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver

Job Type: Full-time Equivalent and Ad Hoc - Temporary

Location: Midlands Region

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to join our team at Logistics People. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across the Midlands region.

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV 1/C+E Licence
  • No more than 6 points and no DD/DR Code convictions
  • Current valid DCPC and Tacho cards
  • Ability to understand and comply with Driver's hours and WTD legislation
  • Able to perform vehicle checks and report defects correctly
  • Compliance with on-site health and safety requirements
  • Excellent communication skills

Working Conditions:

As a Logistics People driver, you will be working on a variety of shifts, including AM and PM start times. You will be required to work at our Eddie Stobart depot locations in the Midlands region.

Pay and Benefits:

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £24.00 per hour, which may vary depending on the shift and site. Our drivers also receive a range of benefits, including a safe and supportive working environment.
