Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver

Job Type: Full-time Equivalent and Ad Hoc - Temporary

Location: Midlands

About the Role:

We are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to join our team at Logistics People. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence
• No more than 6 points and no DD/DR Code convictions
• Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards
• Understand and comply with Driver's hours and WTD legislation
• Perform vehicle checks to ensure safety and report defects correctly
• Comply with on-site health and safety requirements
• Excellent communication skills

What We Offer:

Competitive hourly rate of £24.00, shift and site dependent

Various full-time equivalent shifts available, including AM and PM start times

Ad Hoc - Temporary work opportunities

Requirements:

• 6 months of UK HGV Class 1 driving experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
