Family Support Social Worker Opportunity

We are working with a local authority in Berkshire who are seeking an experienced social worker to join their Family Support team.

This role offers the opportunity to work from home, reducing travel time and allowing you to focus on your caseload, leading to greater job satisfaction.

The local authority provides continued training and development for workers, with good training packages available, including JI and VRI training, as well as Age assessment training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervision is held every 4 weeks, focusing on personal and case supervision.
  • Home visits are conducted within statutory timescales, and meetings, such as core group, family support, and Strategy Meetings, are held via Microsoft Teams.
