The Industrial Power Systems division is dedicated to crafting power system solutions for both internal and external stakeholders.

The Enterprise Power Solutions (EPS) team, situated within the Industrial Power Systems Division, is tasked with delivering internal combustion engine power solutions tailored for off-highway machinery clients.

This team oversees all facets of the Product Lifecycle while nurturing technical and commercial relationships with our customers.


An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Diesel Engine Integration Technical Lead (also known as Application and Installation Engineer) to provide vertically integrated power solutions for the Building & Construction Products Division (BCP).

This role entails supporting BCP's global product development teams across a diverse range of equipment types.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with the BCP and IPSD product/engineering teams to manage and deliver internal combustion engine power system integration projects efficiently through the execution of New Product Introduction and Application & Installation processes.

Your responsibilities will include aligning IPSD and BCP projects while addressing technical installation challenges throughout the NPI development process.

This multifaceted role demands the ability to work and collaborate across various cultures, time zones, and roles on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster effective relationships both internally within the Industrial Power Systems Division and with customer teams to enhance partnerships.
  • Assist BCP in gathering technical requirements from the Voice of the Customer to inform the development of new power system products and drive customer-centric design and development.
  • Ensure timely project delivery and adherence to cost targets through effective power system selection.
  • Manage Application & Installation (A&I) requirements with customers, leading to A&I sign-off prior to machine production commencement.
  • Conduct regular meetings to discuss performance, software, hardware, issues, and A&I testing.
  • Provide engine specification support throughout the product lifecycle, managing changes through new engine configuration requests.
  • Act as a mediator between the Industrial Power Systems Division and customers to maximize enterprise value and resolve technical integration challenges.
  • Contribute to Continuous Product Improvements by sharing insights on machine installations.
  • Possess a solid understanding of engine performance, design, field testing, and/or manufacturing.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of diesel engines, their aftertreatment systems, and/or machine development.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with colleagues, supporting teams, and customers.
  • Willingness to travel: up to 15%.
