About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Linux Developer Advocate to join our growing team. As a technical expert and communicator, you will play a vital role in fostering strong relationships with open-source communities and developer-centric organizations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide valuable technical insights during product development meetings.
  • Actively engage with developers through various online platforms and events.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and create compelling content for developers.
  • Identify areas for improvement in the developer experience and propose innovative solutions.
  • Represent Canonical at conferences and technical gatherings, sharing your expertise with a wider audience.

Qualifications

We are looking for individuals who possess a strong foundation in Linux development and a genuine passion for open-source software. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Hands-on experience with Linux software packaging and open-source contributions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
