Job Description

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial site's electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Mechanical System Maintenance: Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems, including plumbing and BMS systems.
  • Logbook Maintenance: Maintain and update logbooks to track maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Priority Management: Manage priorities within contract constraints to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve set goals and objectives.
  • Information Provision: Provide information for the pricing of M&E works where applicable, for minor projects and maintenance.
Person Specification:
  • Previous Maintenance Experience: Must have previously worked within a maintenance environment.
  • Electrical Systems Management: Must have experience of electrical systems management and paperwork.
  • Business Critical Equipment: Must have experience of working with business critical equipment.
  • Post Apprenticeship Experience: Must have post apprenticeship experience within a maintenance environment.
  • Complex Mechanical Systems: Good knowledge and understanding of a range of complex mechanical systems (desirable).
  • Basic Education: A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic mathematical skills.
  • Recognized Electrical Qualification: Recognized electrical qualification, including City & Guilds 17th Edition in Electrical Installations and City & Guilds Test and Inspection.
Salary and Benefits:
  • Basic Salary: Up to £38,000.
