About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Community Mental Health Team in the Black Country. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and formulating individual interventions, plans, and outcome measures that promote recovery for adults with mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and formulate individual interventions, plans, and outcome measures that promote recovery for adults with mental health difficulties.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to service users.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each service user.
  • Provide education and support to service users and their families to promote recovery and social inclusion.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss service user care and develop strategies for improvement.

Requirements

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification and current registration with the NMC.
  • Post-registration experience of working in multidisciplinary community mental health services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with service users, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Knowledge of government directives and current policies related to mental health care.
  • Working knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Mental Health Act 1983.
