Job Description
Cleveland Clinic London is seeking a skilled Cardiac Scrub Practitioner to join our Bank Team on a temporary basis. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment with the latest equipment and collaborate with expert clinicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the multi-disciplinary Theatre team to assess, implement, and evaluate effective care.
- Ensure accurate records are maintained reflecting changes in the patient's condition and treatment delivered.
- Scrubbing and circulating for cases.
- Provide the highest standard of care and ensure patient safety at all times.
- Collaborate with the Theatre Manager, Deputy Theatre Manager, Team Leaders, and other Theatre Caregivers to carry out relevant forms of care and ensure patient documentation and safety measures are carried out in accordance with Cleveland Clinic London guidelines.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months' UK experience as a Cardiac Scrub Practitioner within an acute hospital setting.
- Nursing registration (First Level) through the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) or ODP registration through Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC) required.
- Nursing Bachelor's Degree.
- Post-registration qualification relevant to functional specialty.
- No restrictions to practice on NMC record.
