Position Overview

A Classroom Cover Coordinator is sought to join a reputable secondary educational institution. This role involves providing ongoing support across various subjects within the school.

Key Responsibilities

The Classroom Cover Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing lessons where all materials are pre-prepared. Your primary focus will be to assist students in staying engaged and on task.

In this capacity, you will cover lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially Key Stage 5 for suitable candidates.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a strong presence and a genuine interest in working with young individuals. You may be a recent graduate contemplating a teaching career, looking to gain valuable experience as a Classroom Cover Coordinator.

Alternatively, you might have experience as a Teaching Assistant (TA), Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), or hold qualifications in Post 16 education, Youth Work, or Outdoor Education.

Support and Development

Comprehensive training and mentoring will be provided to help you excel in this role.

Requirements

As a Classroom Cover Coordinator, you will need to:

  • Provide two professional references
  • Possess a valid DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one
