Job Title: Head of Consumer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Head of Consumer. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of consumers and contribute to the development of effective policies and practices that promote their interests.

About the Role

The Head of Consumer will be responsible for leading our efforts to promote and protect the interests of consumers in the regulation of legal services. This will involve working closely with our stakeholders, including the Legal Services Board and the Office for Legal Complaints, to ensure that their views are represented and their needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of policies and practices that promote the interests of consumers
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that their views are represented and their needs are met
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on consumer issues
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of effective policies and practices that promote consumer interests
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of consumer issues and a proven track record of promoting and protecting consumer interests. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.

Essential Criteria:

  • Understanding of consumer issues and a proven track record of promoting and protecting consumer interests
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Deep understanding of the legal services market and the role of regulators
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience of working in a regulatory environment
  • Knowledge of consumer law and policy
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop effective policies and practices
