About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our team at The Early Careers Company. As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a portfolio of accounts, developing and implementing strategic communications plans, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and plans, demonstrating a deep understanding of the commercial environment and the issues that may impact business.
  • Lead and manage the delivery of communications campaigns, ensuring quality and meeting agreed goals.
  • Prepare and present plans and recommendations to clients, showcasing your expertise and thought leadership.
  • Take an active role in new business development, networking for leads and participating in the pitch process.
  • Manage and resolve incidents and crises, working independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Lead and train junior team members, delegating tasks and ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Conduct client meetings and drive business growth through strong relationships and trust.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in PR and communications, with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience leading and motivating teams, with a proven ability to drive business growth.
  • Good business sense and the ability to work within budgets.
  • A professional manner and a strong work ethic.
