We are seeking a highly organized and administrative skilled individual to join our team as a Legal Assistant. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our fee earners, ensuring the smooth operation of our legal services.
Key Responsibilities- Manage an administrative workload under the guidance of fee earners
- Undertake admin tasks as delegated by team members, including audio dictation
- Admin tasks to include setting up files, dealing with new queries, producing documents, electronic filing, and email management
- Diary management for a fee earner, dealing with post, booking training, and booking barristers
- Drafting documents and bills, using appropriate precedents
- Undertaking basic legal processes, such as helping to process cases through portals and requesting relevant information
- Previous experience of working within a legal setting, or an ability to demonstrate interest and commitment in this sector
- Excellent administrative skills and a strong command of MS Office
- Very strong written communication skills
- An ability to develop good relationships
