Position Overview:

As a Food & Beverage Assistant at Lingfield Park Resort, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences within our Bar and Restaurant. Your primary responsibility will be to serve food and beverages while ensuring top-notch customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn and perform various roles within the bar and catering team, enhancing your versatility as a valuable asset to the business.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge, staying informed about any updates or new offerings.
  • Understand and apply Allergen awareness principles effectively.
  • Prepare dining tables for guests, ensuring all linens, cutlery, and glassware are impeccably arranged.
  • Set up the bar in anticipation of customer arrivals, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Efficiently take food and beverage orders, ensuring prompt service.
  • Implement stock rotation practices when replenishing food and drink areas, and accurately record any wastage as per company policy.
  • Assist with cellar operations, including line cleaning and managing deliveries as needed.
  • Conduct line cleaning in accordance with Health and Safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, promptly addressing any concerns with management.
  • Adhere to the Challenge 21 policy, documenting any findings in line with company guidelines.
  • Consistently provide and promote outstanding customer service.
