About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team at Heathlands Residential Care Home. As a Care Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents, while also leading and managing a team of Care Assistants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Care Assistants to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support to residents
  • Develop and implement individual care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Sanctuary Care's policies and procedures
  • Provide training and development opportunities for Care Assistants to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as nursing and activities, to ensure a holistic approach to care and support
Requirements
  • Experience in a care leadership role, preferably in a residential care setting
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and Sanctuary Care's policies and procedures
