Electrical Contracts Manager/Estimator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager & Estimator to join our team at CV Library.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing tenders from inception to submission, and providing contracts management through to completion. They will also be responsible for estimating projects from various sectors, including commercial, education, healthcare, and industrial.

This is a full-time position, and the salary is flexible dependent on experience, with a range of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum plus a company vehicle.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:

  1. Thorough knowledge of suppliers and subcontractors.
  2. Understanding of associated electrical services.
  3. Flexible and dedicated approach to deadlines.
  4. Computer literacy with experience of estimation software.
  5. Ability to maintain quality standards in accordance with company policies.

We would also consider interviewing approved electricians who are time-served with certification and looking to progress their careers from on-site to an office/management role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage tenders from inception to submission.
  • Provide contracts management through to completion.
  • Estimate projects from various sectors.
  • Maintain quality standards in accordance with company policies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electrical contracts management.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Computer literacy with experience of estimation software.
