Role Responsibilities:

As the Lead Infrastructure Support Engineer, you will take a proactive approach in managing the organization’s IT infrastructure, both cloud-based and on-premises, along with our communication systems. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our networks and systems are secure, up-to-date, and performing optimally, guaranteeing availability for all users.

You will be responsible for recommending enhancements to our operational methodologies to facilitate efficient and effective IT services. Your duties will include ensuring that IT infrastructure, operating systems, and applications are properly installed, maintained, and decommissioned, adhering to all relevant procedures and regulations.

Regular testing of disaster recovery solutions will be essential to meet organizational expectations in case of system unavailability, ensuring minimal downtime during incidents.

The Lead Infrastructure Support Engineer will also enforce the organization’s policies regarding anti-virus, security, email, and web usage, ensuring that all software remains robust and current. Collaboration with the IT Infrastructure team and broader IT department will be key to your success.
