Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a quality catering service that meets the highest standards of health, safety, and hygiene.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Minimise food waste and use equipment correctly to maintain a clean and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Escalate any concerns or issues promptly to ensure the well-being of our residents.

Requirements

  • Level 2 food safety certificate.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures, including COSHH.
  • Previous catering experience with a basic understanding of food safety and safe use of knives and kitchen equipment.
  • Experience working with older people.
