We are partnering with a leading global reinsurer to find a Senior Reinsurance Treaty Pricing Actuary. This is a great opportunity to have ownership and exposure to a large and growing book of business, with over 1 billion GWP currently and aiming for over 1.5 billion at the end of the year.

  • **Key Responsibilities:**
  • Lead a team of 6, including a direct report and two data analysts who focus on dashboards and MI.
  • Partner closely with Underwriting to offer strong deal vision.
  • Oversight and guidance of Underwriting KPIs and Performance, reporting insights to the Underwriting committee.
  • Heavy client-facing role, offering support for broker and reinsurer negotiations.
  • Individual case pricing support, leading the development of pricing models, enhancing portfolio analytics, and supporting wider strategic initiatives.
  • Take a lead on a certain business segment, while working collaboratively with the wider team during busier periods.
  • Outwards Reinsurance optimization.

About the Role:

This is a broad and challenging role that requires a strong actuarial background and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a large and growing book of business, and will be responsible for leading a team of actuaries and data analysts.
