We are partnering with a leading global reinsurer to find a Senior Reinsurance Treaty Pricing Actuary. This is a great opportunity to have ownership and exposure to a large and growing book of business, with over 1 billion GWP currently and aiming for over 1.5 billion at the end of the year.

The role is broad and covers all P&C Specialty classes, as well as leading a growing Partnerships & Innovation business segment. The role includes:

  • Leading a team of 6, including a direct report and two data analysts who focus mainly on dashboards and MI.
  • Closely partnering with Underwriting to offer strong deal vision.
  • Oversight and guidance of Underwriting KPIs and Performance, with reporting insights to the Underwriting committee.
  • Heavily client-facing, offering support for broker and reinsurer negotiations.
  • Individual case pricing support, leading the development of pricing models, enhancing portfolio analytics, and supporting wider strategic initiatives.
  • Taking a lead on a certain business segment, but also working collaboratively with the wider team during busier periods.
  • Outwards Reinsurance optimization.
