Product Quality Support Engineer

BlueGate Consulting Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Product Quality Support Engineer to join our team in Luton, Bedfordshire.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Quality Engineer to support our product development process. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, and will work closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams to identify and implement quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement quality control and assurance procedures to ensure contract requirements are met.
  2. Review and prepare summary QA/QC documentation for quotation submissions.
  3. Prepare and maintain product specifications and process procedures, including monitoring approval records.
  4. Prepare detailed SIR's (Strip and Inspection reports) for customer approval.
  5. Control and monitor contract quality plans and live QP's for daily status.
  6. Control and monitor CAPA's (Nuclear) and MSDS and COSHH (Nuclear).
  7. Control and monitor Sub-Contract deliveries, monitoring progress, compliance, and due dates.
  8. Ensure changes in QA specifications are reflected in accordance with Engineering Manager's requirements.
  9. Provide quality support to Sales, Operations, Production Engineering, Manufacturing, and Test.
  10. Participate or lead quality improvement projects.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum of 5 years' experience within a Quality role in an engineering manufacturing site.
  2. Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and SolidWorks (design).
  3. UK Passport Holder (not dual).
  4. A Full Driving Licence.
