Job Summary

ATA Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Chemical Process Engineer to join a thriving EPC business specializing in the design, manufacture, and installation of high-quality processing systems.

About the Role

As a Senior Chemical Process Engineer, you will be responsible for leading process engineering aspects of projects from design through to commissioning and optimization at site. You will work on projects varying from 12-18 months within the aluminium sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop process design and P&IDs
  • Participate in HAZOP
  • Create functional design specifications
  • Produce process flow and block flow diagrams
  • Sizing of process plant equipment
  • Factory acceptance and customer acceptance testing
  • Carry out process commissioning at customer site

Requirements

  • Several years of demonstrable experience in process design
  • A Chemical Engineering Degree
  • Willingness to travel and be involved in projects from design through to commissioning
