About the Role

We are seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team at a large SEN school for students aged 11-19 with a range of needs, including Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties, and Social, Emotional Mental Health needs.

The successful candidate will have experience working with challenging behaviour and a passion for supporting young people. They will be proactive, enthusiastic, and able to provide emotional support and one-to-one interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with challenging behaviour in the classroom environment
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students
  • Develop and implement one-to-one interventions to support student behaviour
Requirements
  • Experience working with challenging behaviour
  • Passion for working with young people
  • Proactive and enthusiastic approach
