Senior Solidworks Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solidworks Design Engineer to join our team at Professional Technical Ltd. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for leading design studies and driving product development from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead design studies to solve technical or consumer issues in product development
  • Take ownership of designs and drive them through concept, CAD, visualization, prototyping, and verification
  • Collaborate with overseas manufacturing teams to ensure successful production
  • Apply proven understanding and experience of plastic injection molding to high-volume production
  • Adapt to work independently and collaboratively, shifting approaches as solutions gain support from the global engineering team
Requirements:
  • Degree-level qualification in Product Design, Mechanical, or Industrial Design Engineering
  • Proven experience as a Senior Engineer in a Mechanical or Product Design environment
  • Experience leading projects and taking products from concept to production
  • Experience with plastic injection molding
  • Proficient in SolidWorks or CREO
  • Ability to build prototypes and develop test plans
