About the Role

The Head of Programmes is a senior leadership position that requires a visionary leader with strategic thinking, programme management expertise, and a deep commitment to improving WASH services in underserved communities.

This role leads the design, implementation, and evaluation of all Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) projects within Just a Drop, working closely with a team of 3 staff and 11 volunteers with significant experience in hydrogeology, engineering, and WASH expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement effective WASH projects that meet the needs of underserved communities.
  2. Lead a team of programme staff and volunteers to ensure successful project delivery.
  3. Collaborate with country partners to support the development of sustainable WASH solutions.
  4. Monitor and evaluate project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  5. Travel to project sites, including remote areas, to provide technical support and guidance.
Requirements
  1. Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
  2. Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  3. Fluency in English.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
