Job Title: Automotive Electrician

At Microlise, we are seeking a skilled Automotive Electrician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, service, and support of our products in the Gravesend area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Visit customer sites to undertake installation, service, and support of Microlise products
  • Complete survey visits and identify suitable solutions
  • Conduct QA visits on Microlise products and peripherals in customer assets
  • Manage inventory and ensure the upkeep and safety of your vehicle and tools
  • Liaise with customers at all levels and provide support to peers and contractors
  • Ensure administration is concise, accurate, and professional
  • Adhere to internal processes and procedures
  • Report on statistical information when required
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role, with auto electrics and/or telematics experience
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Experience of working to Service Level Agreements and Operational Schedules
  • Understanding of vehicle wiring diagrams and ability to interpret these
  • Evidence of strong customer service skills with a professional approach
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adjust style to relevant audiences
  • Ability to work autonomously, solve problems independently, and adhere to agreed processes
  • Take pride in work, ensuring quality and accuracy
  • Valid Passport for travel
Working Pattern:

Our Field Engineers work shifts on a rota basis, including weekends, to suit customer requirements. Full details regarding our working patterns can be discussed at the interview stage.

This is a field-based role covering the Gravesend area, with occasional visits to our Head Office in Nottingham.
