Automotive Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Electrician to join our team as a Field Service Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, service, and support of Microlise products at customer sites.

• Visiting customer sites to undertake installation, service, and support of Microlise products
• Completing survey visits and identifying suitable solutions
• Completing QA visits on Microlise products and peripherals in customer assets
• Inventory management and responsible for the upkeep and safety of your vehicle and all provided tools/equipment
• Liaising with customers at all levels and providing support to your peers and contractor resource where required
• Ensuring administration is concise, accurate, and professional, and adhering to all internal processes and procedures
• Reporting on statistical information when required

• Demonstrable experience in a similar role, with auto electrics and/or telematics experience
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience of working to Service Level Agreements and Operational Schedules
• Understanding of vehicle wiring diagrams and ability to interpret these
• Evidence of strong customer service skills with a professional approach
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adjust style to relevant audiences
• Ability to work autonomously, solve problems independently, and adhere to agreed processes
• Taking pride in work, ensuring quality and accuracy
• Valid Passport for travel

Our Field Engineers work shifts on a rota basis, including weekends, to suit the requirements of our customers. Full details regarding our working patterns can be discussed at the interview stage.

This is a field-based role covering the Gravesend area, however our Head Office is based in Nottingham and you will be required to visit Head Office on an ad-hoc basis in line with business needs.
