About the Role
Solus Aviva is seeking an experienced and skilled Motor Engineer to join our team. As a Motor Engineer, you will play a crucial role in preserving consistency and delivering exceptional customer service across our market-leading business and strategic partners.
Key Responsibilities
As a Motor Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Inspecting and assessing motor vehicles to determine the extent of damage
- Authorizing repairs to our approved repairer network and customer-nominated repairers
- Monitoring performance and identifying areas for improvement
- Building relationships with our Solus sites and approved repairers
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Membership of either IMI, IRTE, ATA, or VDA, or be working towards it
- Motor claims knowledge, including a basic understanding of insurance principles
- Good working knowledge of computerized damage estimating systems, including Audatex
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
