Role Overview
Position: Culinary Support Volunteer
Location: Surbiton (Kingston)
Commitment: At least 2 hours weekly
We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate volunteers to assist in meal preparation for individuals at our supported living facility in Surbiton. Your role will be pivotal in helping them develop essential cooking skills that promote greater independence. If you have a love for culinary arts and a desire to assist others, this opportunity is ideal for you. The volunteering hours will typically be during lunch or dinner, so please consider this when expressing your interest. We welcome applicants who may only be available during term time. Required Skills- A genuine passion for food and proficiency with kitchen tools
- A food hygiene certification is advantageous, though training can be provided if necessary
- Strong communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Reliability and punctuality are essential
- Ability to handle information in accordance with our confidentiality and data protection policies
