Our fleet solutions encompass video surveillance systems aimed at boosting safety for both passengers and drivers, performance monitoring for vehicles and drivers, as well as automatic passenger counting systems.
We also provide passenger information solutions, which include essential hardware and software for real-time information systems, off-vehicle smart ticketing, and wayfinding technologies.
We are currently seeking to expand our service and maintenance team and have an opening for a Fleet Service Engineer to operate within the South East region. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of fleet monitoring and Passenger Information Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to service requests promptly, ensuring fleet systems are restored to full functionality.
- Conduct routine maintenance and system audits on existing installations.
- Install and commission new systems as required.
- Prepare and submit updates and reports for both internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis.
This position involves collaboration with a team of engineers across various fleet depots, with a commitment of only 4 night shifts from Monday to Thursday, each lasting 10 hours.
Qualifications and Experience:
Applicants should possess:
- Experience in the installation and maintenance of ancillary electronic vehicle systems, particularly with a strong understanding of CCTV technology.
- Familiarity with PCs and networking systems.
- A formal qualification in a relevant technical discipline.
- A valid UK Driving Licence.
