Job Opportunity in Acute Medicine and Palliative Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialty Doctor to join our team in the Acute Medical Admissions Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a range of acute medical problems at senior middle grade level
  • Develop clinical leadership skills within acute medicine
  • Work with the Palliative Care team to support patients in the last three months of their life
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
  • Equivalent to ST3 or higher

About the Role:

This is a new, trial post as a quality improvement initiative. As such, you will be expected to develop the post along QI principles and present the evidence for doing so. You will be supported in doing this.
