We are seeking a Project Support Engineer with expertise in Servo and/or Stepper drives and motors to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering technical assistance to current clients through various communication channels.
- Providing support and training to both internal and external application engineers.
- Facilitating effective communication between clients and research and development (R&D) teams.
- Creating comprehensive technical documentation and communications.
- Collaborating with clients to develop exceptional technical solutions utilizing our products.
- Engaging closely with our R&D team throughout the product development process to ensure alignment with customer feedback.
Work Environment and Travel:
- Position based in the United Kingdom.
- Opportunities for remote work when suitable.
- Role may involve domestic and international travel as required.
Essential Qualifications:
As our organization continues to expand, we are looking for several Project Support Engineers. If you are interested in a fulfilling and challenging career advancement, please review the qualifications listed below:
- Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Electronic Engineering.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of customer needs, including standard manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to produce professional-grade technical documentation.
- A valid passport for unrestricted travel.
- A valid driving license.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Training will be provided in areas that are new to the candidate.
- Experience with standalone automation systems, such as PLCs or Motion Controllers.
- Familiarity with programming languages, including C, BASIC, or Python.
- Knowledge of standard IEC programming languages.
- Experience with the application and configuration of Industrial Robots.
- Understanding of Servo and/or Stepper drives and motors.
- Experience with real-time deterministic networks, such as EtherCAT, Sercos, CanOpen, or Profinet RT.
- Experience in programming and configuring touch-screen HMIs.
- Practical knowledge of electrical interfacing within automation systems.
