We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance support functions of our warehouse automation system. The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of warehouse automation, be adept at managing large teams, and demonstrate a strong commitment to ensuring optimal operational efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance professionals, including training manager, reliability manager, CMMS specialist, Maintenance planner, stores team.
- Maintenance Operations: Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies and schedules to ensure all warehouse equipment and systems are operating efficiently, conducting regular reviews of the 52-week plan to ensure optimal performance is achieved.
- Budget and Resource Management: Manage the maintenance department budget, including forecasting and controlling expenses.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Bachelor's degree or HNC/HND in Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of maintenance experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse equipment and systems, including conveyors, sortation systems, and automated storage and retrieval systems.
- Proven history of developing and managing maintenance programs and teams.
- Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
