Overview of the Position

We are excited to announce openings for Apprentice Supportive Care Provider roles. The primary duty of this position is to provide exceptional care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure that each resident receives comprehensive assistance with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and supporting them in all aspects of daily living as needed. Collaborate with the team to continuously monitor the health requirements of each resident, ensuring effective communication with senior and relevant staff. Offer support and work closely with families and friends, providing them with professional and emotional assistance tailored to individual needs. Assist in the preparation, implementation, review, and updating of all residents' care plans, aligning with their personal preferences and wishes, in accordance with Nazareth Care Charitable Trust policies. Undertake any other responsibilities as may be reasonably required.

All positions offered are contingent upon receiving two satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS or PVG disclosure.

About You

As an Apprentice Supportive Care Provider, you will be dedicated to delivering high-quality care, demonstrating patience, kindness, and understanding towards our residents. Assisting residents with immediate needs such as bathing, dressing, and maintaining hygiene is a fundamental aspect of the role, but it also involves building personal relationships with residents and providing emotional support.

This position is ideal for individuals who are compassionate, friendly, and empathetic. You should be able to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and ensure that our residents maintain their dignity and individuality. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.

It is preferred that you possess a S/NVQ level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care (Adults) or be willing to pursue training to obtain this qualification.
