We are seeking a Trainee Systemic Family Practitioner to join our team, working closely with children and young people who are experiencing mental health issues. As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in systemic family practice, working under close clinical supervision.

The training program is a 12-month course provided by the Greater Manchester Mental Health Foundation Trust in partnership with the University of Manchester. Upon completion, successful trainees will be offered a post-qualification role at NHS Band 6 salary for a minimum of 12 months.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide whole family interventions for children and young people experiencing low mood, self-harm, and behavioral issues.
  • Work closely with the Child Action Northwest Emotional Health and Wellbeing Team to deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Attend study days two days per week and service-based work three days per week.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £29,970 per annum.
  • Enhanced annual leave starting from 25 days a year, plus bank holidays, rising by 1 day each year up to 30 days holiday.
