Job Title: Director of Asset Management

This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children with life-shortening conditions and their families. As Trust Director, you will be instrumental in delivering our strategic goals, supported by an experienced Senior Management Team and Board of Trustees.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the charity's strategic business plan, responding to key strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
  • Deliver the outcomes of our priority aims and objectives through the measurement of our KPIs, while leading the continual implementation of the Trust's Vision, Mission, and Values.
  • Manage the charity effectively, ensuring its financial security, asset management, and risk appraisal are maintained and enhanced.
  • Take overall responsibility for achieving, monitoring, and reporting on performance against targets in all areas of the Trust's activities, taking appropriate action as required.
Key Skills and Experience
  • Significant senior management experience in a commercial or charity organization.
  • Experience of effective partnership working and development, as well as external relationship management.
  • Financial management skills, including budgeting and delivery of cost and income targets.
  • Robust approach to governance, controls, and definition/implementation of new processes, with experience of financial and risk management.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of CQC and OFSTED requirements.
  • Experience within the past three years of charity governance, policies, and statutory requirements.
