About the Role:

Sue Ryder is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Media Manager to join our Marketing, Communications and Digital services directorate. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy that drives engagement, increases brand awareness, and supports our income-generating activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead paid social media activity across multiple platforms, including Meta, to support fundraising, retail, and brand awareness initiatives.
  2. Manage and report on a large portfolio of social media accounts, ensuring timely and accurate content scheduling and co-ordination.
  3. Plan, source, and edit content in various formats, including images, videos, and graphics, for social media channels.
  4. Implement and optimise paid social media campaigns across various objectives, durations, and budgets.
  5. Utilise social media monitoring and listening tools to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity.
  6. Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to secure buy-in and ensure a cohesive social media strategy.
  7. Provide line management and influence colleagues to achieve social media goals.
About You:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong background in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing. You will have excellent copywriting and proof-reading skills, as well as a keen eye for detail. Intermediate-level skills in Canva, Photoshop, and Premier Pro are essential, as well as experience with social media scheduling and co-ordination tools like Sprout Social.
