We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our clients and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our clients and customers
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of food to ensure exceptional quality and presentation
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and safe food preparation and service
- Monitor and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Collaborate with our team to identify opportunities for menu innovation and improvement
- Represent Chartwells - Schools and maintain a positive brand image
- Proven experience as a Chef in a similar role
- City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
