Job Title: Adults Learning Disability Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adults Learning Disability Support Worker to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic care and support to adults with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs.

About the Role:

As an Adults Learning Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for assisting residents through a care pathway to help them live as independently as possible. You will work closely with a team of multi-professionals to provide a supportive and enabling environment for our service users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide therapeutic care and support to adults with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs
  • Assist residents through a care pathway to help them live as independently as possible
  • Work closely with a team of multi-professionals to provide a supportive and enabling environment
  • Monitor and record patient conditions, treating each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty
Requirements:
  • A desire to create positive outcomes for adults with learning disabilities
  • Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
  • At least 6 months experience of working within a social care setting
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or are willing to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK
