Commercial Finance Manager Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Manager to join our team at Hays Senior Finance. As a key member of our commercial finance team, you will play a critical role in providing financial insights and analysis to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Sales and Margin P&L lines, providing accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with finance and non-finance stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide commercial finance support to the business, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and analysis.
  • Collaborate with the broader commercial finance team to drive business growth and profitability.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with a strong background in commercial finance.
  • Commercial finance/FP&A and business partnering experience, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with experience of using PowerBI.
