Job Summary:
Sellick Partnership is seeking a highly skilled Senior Audit Manager to join our team in the Public Sector. As a Senior Audit Manager, you will be responsible for providing quality assurance that the key principles of Internal Audit are being upheld within the terms and conditions of the Public Sector Internal Audit Standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Planned Audits: You will be responsible for delivering planned audits in line with the Internal Audit Annual Programme, ensuring that all audits are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Contribute to Audit Strategy: You will contribute to the overall Audit Strategy and the process of ongoing assurance, working closely with the Audit Team to identify and mitigate risks.
- Lead Internal Audit Functions: You will lead in the development and implementation of Internal Audit functions, ensuring that all audit processes are efficient and effective.
- Deliver Universe Risk Assessment: You will deliver the ongoing Internal Audit Universe Risk Assessment and Audit Planning process, identifying and prioritizing risks to ensure that the organization is protected.
- Represent Internal Audits: You will represent Internal Audits on Internal programme and project boards, ensuring that the audit function is represented and that the organization's interests are protected.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: You will need to be fully qualified with a CMIIA, CCAB or equivalent qualification.
- SC Clearance: You will require SC Clearance, which will be subject to a background check.
- Experience: You will need to have experience in Banking, Insurance or wider financial services Audit, with a strong understanding of project and change assurance and agile auditing techniques.
- Client Relationship Building: You will need to have strong client relationship building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Senior Management Experience: You will need to have experience of working up to Senior Management level, with a strong understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
