Job Summary:

Chubb Fire & Security Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in the commercial management of our design and build projects. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of a portfolio of projects, including administration of main contracts and subcontract agreements, provision of advisory services on standard forms of agreement, and assistance with procurement and negotiation of subcontracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administration of main contracts, including project control information, change management, and cash collection
  • Administration of subcontract agreements, including execution of project subcontract strategy
  • Provision of advisory services on standard forms of agreement, including FIDIC, JCT, NEC, ICE, etc.
  • Assistance with procurement and negotiation of subcontracts
  • Working with project managers to identify early warnings within the subcontract environment
  • Assistance with preparation of accurate project control information to evaluate progress against the agreed construction programme
  • Management of team's ethics, quality, and EH&S requirements

Requirements:

  • Graduate calibre with experience in business processes and administration of contracts
  • Experience of quantifying works in accordance with standard measurement rules
  • Experience in influencing and management of confrontational and difficult situations
  • Strong technical background and excellent administration skills
