About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Supervisor to join our team at Goodman Jones LLP. As an Audit Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading and mentoring junior auditors, overseeing audit engagements, and building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor junior auditors to ensure the successful completion of audit engagements
  • Oversee audit engagements from start to finish, working closely with Managers and Partners
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Prepare and review audit reports, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and auditing standards
  • Develop and implement audit strategies, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified, with at least 3 years' experience in an audit-focused role
  • Strong technical skills in auditing and accounts, with a solid understanding of UK GAAP and auditing standards
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor junior auditors, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Excellent IT skills, with experience working with systems such as CCH, CaseWare, and Datasnipper
