Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at The Electronics Group. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for directing, coordinating, and executing all electrical and instrumentation aspects of clean water design projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical and instrumentation systems for clean water treatment plants
  • Produce design deliverables, including SLDs, BCDs, load schedules, termination drawings, and cable calculations
  • Liaise with designers from different disciplines to ensure the design package is complete and concise
  • Manage external design resources and compile EICA specifications and data-sheets for procurement of EICA equipment
  • Assist with management of EICA procurement packages and reviewing technical submissions
  • Work collaboratively with other design departments and support project managers and directors within the business
  • Maintain design input throughout the project lifecycle and ensure compliance with design/specifications and standards
Requirements:
  • 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in clean water based projects
  • BTEC HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering as a minimum
  • EUSR water hygiene card and competent in using Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Desirable qualifications include a degree in EICA field, strong Auto CAD design skills, and ability to use Microsoft project to manage programmes
