Adecco is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join a global manufacturer in Winsford, Cheshire. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance on plant and equipment, responding to breakdowns, and installing and relocating production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out planned maintenance on plant and equipment to a high standard.
  • Responding to breakdowns on production machines.
  • Installing and relocating production equipment.
  • Reading electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Performing mechanical and pneumatic fault finding.
  • Completing daily time sheets and maintenance records.
Requirements:
  • The ability to read mechanical drawings.
  • Strong mechanical skills.
  • Experience in mechanical fault finding.
  • Electrical knowledge preferred but not essential.
  • Someone reliable and flexible with a strong work ethic.
