About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Black Fox Solutions. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and detailed cost estimates for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve quotes from suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure the most competitive pricing.
  • Monitor project costs at various stages to ensure they stay within estimated budgets.
  • Assess risk levels associated with projects and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues.
  • Prepare and submit detailed quotations and cost breakdowns for work to be done.
  • Conduct research on the cost of materials, labor, equipment, and other project-related expenses.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with sub-contractors and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Review drawings, client specifications, and provide a detailed scope of work with breakdown.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or civil engineering industry.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of NEC contracts and their application in project management.
