Role Overview

As a Senior Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the upkeep, enhancement, and installation of machinery within our production facility. Your primary goal will be to optimize equipment and facility efficiency while minimizing operational costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular maintenance and respond to equipment failures in a dynamic Food Production environment.
  • Utilize your expertise, either through hands-on experience or formal qualifications, to work on food processing machinery.
  • Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on various equipment, including:
    • Multi-head weighers
    • Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS) bagging machines
    • Case tapers and conveyors
    • Compressors and pumps
    • Electrical systems
    • Oil and water pipelines
    • Effluent systems
  • Enhance and develop electrical control systems across the facility to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage projects and oversee capital asset installations in collaboration with the Factory Manager.
  • Conduct general maintenance tasks, including building repairs.
  • Oversee the management and procurement of engineering spare parts.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
