PP Associates is seeking an experienced Territory Area Sales Manager to join our team in the North East and Yorkshire region, covering Newcastle. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and developing customer relationships in the Pet Channel, driving in-store distribution through existing and new business.
Main Responsibilities:- Strengthen existing customer relationships with around 50 retailers, varying from Country Stores, Feed Warehouse's and Pet Shops, and identify key levers for sustainable growth opportunities.
- Increasing distribution of our brands through new customers is a key target for this area. Developing prospecting strategies to identify our biggest opportunities will be key.
- Develop promotional strategies specific to the retailer network to ensure we are maximising our return on investment and driving incremental growth.
- Achieve specific annual sales targets and also NPD targets as requested.
- Produce weekly call reports for the independent channel manager as requested.
- Develop strong relationships with store managers of a National Wholesaler in the territory and identify key areas of opportunity.
- Drive in-store excellence through POS and merchandising to ensure our products have maximum presence in store.
- Deliver in-store training to customers on our product ranges and brands to drive mutual retailer growth.
- Energetic, pro-active with a real flair for building long-term customer relationships and show resilience, drive and commitment to achieving KPI's.
- Previous experience and knowledge within Petcare / Pet Accessories / Pet Brands / Vet Vales.
- Happy to meet clients F2F daily.
- Covering Yorkshire/Northeast to Newcastle.
- A drive for progression within the business is critical to long-term success.
- Working in a vibrant, fast-paced environment.
- Remote, territory role covering the North East, Yorkshire to Newcastle.
- Company car (Passat or Golf) + annual bonus.
- 3% pension (contribution) after qualifying period.
- 25 days holiday + 8 bank.
- In-house training and career development in each department.
- 20% of all products.
