Position Overview

As an HR Consultant, you will be integral in connecting the HR department with business operations. Your role will encompass providing expert advice on employment legislation, managing employee relations, facilitating recruitment efforts, implementing policies, and assisting the Head of People with various HR initiatives and metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing guidance on disciplinary actions, grievances, absence management, and performance evaluations.
  • Assisting line managers with recruitment to ensure an efficient hiring process.
  • Promoting a culture of high performance where talent is acknowledged and developed.
  • Overseeing payroll functions, including salary processing and deductions.
  • Updating HR policies to ensure compliance with current laws.
  • Managing the onboarding process for new hires from offer acceptance to induction.
  • Analyzing and reporting on HR KPIs, including absence rates and turnover statistics.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful applicant will have a thorough understanding of employment laws and best practices in recruitment and selection. Strong organizational and administrative abilities are essential, along with experience throughout the employee lifecycle. The candidate should excel in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent attention to detail, and demonstrate strong communication skills while maintaining confidentiality. Familiarity with payroll processing is preferred.
